Markets are complex ecosystems. Decisions interact with many factors, conditions change continuously, and the consequences of our actions cannot always be predicted. Yet companies still need to act, make decisions, and find ways to prosper.
In The Complexity Challenge, participants will manage a simulated airport and experience two very different ways of working: one based on planning and predictability, and another in which conditions continuously change and decisions must be adapted along the way.
The challenge helps participants experience the strengths and limitations of both approaches, understand when planning creates value and when adaptability becomes essential, and learn how to operate effectively under uncertainty.
From this experience, we will explore the concept of antifragility: today, it is no longer enough for organizations simply to resist change. They must turn uncertainty and change into a competitive advantage by becoming faster at learning, adapting, experimenting, and responding than their competitors.
