We drive the future of Product Management in Europe

EuPMA knowledge is organized into two complementary dimensions: Product Management Knowledge, focused on practical methods, tools and ways of working and Product Management Perspectives, dedicated to deeper reflection, interpretation and exploration of the ideas shaping Product Management.
EuPMA Product Management Knowledge is structured around six macro areas that cover the main dimensions of Product Management:
For each area, EuPMA identifies a set of Key Questions: the fundamental questions Product Managers need to address in order to make sound decisions and develop successful products.
To answer these questions, Product Managers can use the associated Product Management Best Practices. Each best practice represents a practical method, approach or tool that can be applied directly in Product Management activities.
These best practices are the elementary building blocks of EuPMA knowledge. They are not presented as isolated tools, but as parts of a connected system that helps Product Managers understand what needs to be addressed and how to act.
To implement improvement in Product Management, Product Managers can follow Outcome Paths: modular sequences of activities and best practices designed to achieve a specific result, such as defining product requirements, identifying differentiation opportunities or improving a Product Management process.
Outcome Paths are designed to be easily integrated into existing Product Management processes, without requiring companies to replace their current way of working. Once adopted, they can be progressively adapted and improved through a continuous improvement and agile approach, incorporating experience, feedback and new knowledge over time.
This creates a flexible knowledge system in which Product Managers can move from a Key Question, directly to the relevant Best Practices, or follow an Outcome Path when a coordinated sequence of activities is needed.
Part of this knowledge is also embedded into AI Agents designed to support Product Managers in specific activities and decision-making tasks.
A general, non-customized version of selected agents can be freely explored and tested to understand how this type of support can work in practice.
The current EuPMA agents are developed in ChatGPT, but the technology platform is not the essential element. To provide real value in a company, agents need to be customized to its products, processes, terminology, knowledge and ways of working. They can therefore be implemented in ChatGPT or in any other suitable AI environment.
The knowledge is also made available through Quick Guides, practical eBooks and in-depth guides, which provide methods, examples and practical guidance for real Product Management work.

Product Management is not only about knowing what to do and how to do it. It also requires understanding the principles, behaviours and forces that influence customers, markets, organizations and product decisions.
Product Management Perspectives explores these deeper questions.
Through articles, eBooks and in-depth insights, EuPMA examines topics that help Product Managers interpret what happens around products, challenge assumptions and develop more informed points of view.
Perspectives may explore questions such as how customers perceive and assign value, how emotions influence product choice, how sustainability can become part of the customer experience, or how ethical considerations should influence product decisions.
The objective is not to provide step-by-step methods, but to offer ideas, models and different ways of looking at Product Management that can enrich judgement and support better decisions.
Go beyond the method. Understand the forces behind better product decisions.
